No, there’s nothing wrong with you…bacon is in everything these days! I had some chocolate-covered bacon at a local chocolate shop (rated one of the best chocolateers in the country). It was good! The bacon stole the show, but it was good! Try the bacon pancakes…report back! :)
Was it the chocolate covered bacon from the place in the Essex Street market (in NYC)? That stuff is amazing; but her butter crunch is even better…
Geek Dad on Wired.com made these pancakes! http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2010/08/the-great-bacon-odyssey-extreme-bacon-pancakes/
Hi Sarah! I just came across your blog from Geek Dad and I have to say, I love it! I didn’t know there was such a thing as a culinary historian, but it sounds fascinating! Combining two of my favorites: food and history. I love the concept and will visit often. P.S. the bacon pancakes sound great!
Jenny, thank you, that’s so kind! Welcome to the blog!
